Even at the start of day
Someone has taken time away.
At lunch, a half-hour nabbed,
Like a purse in the subway –
Pinched, snatched, & grabbed.
Another half at end of day
Is blatantly looted and carried away –
All pilfered and filched to the clicking of keys.
What robbers writers with jobs must be!
