If any of you poets are feeling left out with National Novel Writing Month starting, join the First Annual twytte NaNoWriMoChallenge on Words & Deeds! It starts today, and there is really only 1 trick to it: write for an hour every day for the rest of the month.
For those of you who know the story of how twytte started this may sound similar, but unlike that experiment, you don’t have to write and publish something everyday. You just have to write.
Notice that I said, “write,” not “write a novel” (although you’re welcome to). Poems count – whether you’re working on a book of poems or simply writing several (or perfecting one, something I should do more often). Blog articles, short stories, movie scripts, plays: I do not prejudice against the writing format. Pick a project and write.
And share. I’d love to hear about what you’re writing. 🙂
