The Withered Blossom

The withered blossom
Hangs limply, shriveled and brown:
A relic of spring.

Beautiful Silence

Beautiful silence:
Mysteriously vibrant
Until the door slams.

Sparkling Bright

See the single drop,
So pure and sparkling bright:
Essence of sunlight

Heartbeat

Humming and pulsing
The heartbeat of the summer
Where wind cannot reach.

Too Clinging

A cloud lingers low
But too close and too clinging:
Uninvited warmth

Seeking the Sunshine

Splashes of colours
Burst from their verdant covers
Seeking the sunshine

Sink

Feel the empty warmth,
Close your ears – ignore the call:
Sink into darkness

A Laughing Rhythm

A laughing rhythm
Above our heads dances with
Unseen companions

The Song

Like a distant wind,
The song weaves between us all:
Separately one.

A Harsh Lesson

Eager little buds
Poke their heads out of the snow
And wish to return
